Jackanory Preschool has a dedicated and enthusiastic team of staff who have been with us for many years. We have four Level Three qualified practitioners, two who are Level Two qualified, and one more finishing their Level Three qualification. Of the seven members of staff, one is classed as our Bank Staff and helps out as needed on an ad hoc basis. Our manager Katherine Patrick is also Designated Safeguarding Lead, our Deputy Manager Clare Hudson is the Oak Room supervisor and Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator, Ruqia Shahid is our Acorn Room supervisor and practitioner Hannah Carmody is Deputy Safeguarding Lead.
Because Jackanory Preschool is a charity run preschool we are overseen by a volunteer Committee of parents and grandparents of the children who attend the setting, these include a Chair Person, Treasurer and Secretary as well as a wider team who help with the organisation and implementation of a variety of events.
