The smaller Acorn Room is a lovely, gentle introduction to preschool life. It has two permenant, qualified members of staff who provide a range of adult led activities for the children to participate in alongside the free choice rescoures available. The Acorn Room has its own garden which the children enjoy daily, regardless of the weather, a range of large equipment and ride on's are provided to help children develop gross motor skills and hand eye coordination. Children stay in the Acorn Room from the age of two until the term in which they turn three, when they then move to the Oak Room. When children turn two and a half they are welcome to stay for the lunch time and afternoon session in the Oak Room. We welcome children who are eligible to receive free early education for two year old funding (FEET).
